How Items Are Grouped

The list covers 167 items, split first by price band and boots, then filterable by the stat each one grants. Start from the number your build is missing.

Three price bands

The 151 non-boot items fall into three bands: 12 basic items at 500 gold or less, 43 mid items from 501 to 1,999, and 96 core items at 2,000 and above. The most expensive costs 3400.

Stat coverage is lopsided. Max health appears on 71 items and ability haste on 63, while only 9 carry armour penetration and 7 magic penetration. Commit to penetration and that short list is all you have to choose from.

You can only equip one item with an active effect (in-game rule). Zhonya's Hourglass and Gargoyle Stoneplate cannot sit in the same build, so decide early which active is worth one of your six slots.

Boots were rebuilt in 7.2

Boots keep their own bracket of 16: the 400-gold starter pair, 8 tier 2 pairs and 7 tier 3 pairs. Patch 7.2 raised the tier 2 price and added a component to each recipe, and the pairs now pull in different directions — tenacity on one, basic-attack mitigation on another.

Tier 3 only unlocks at the 10:00 mark. Until then you are wearing tier 2, so the pair bought early decides which late-game passive you finish with. Read the enemy damage — physical, magic or crowd control — before that first purchase.

5 items, Manamune and Winter's Approach among them, evolve on their own once a condition is met. Their evolved forms are not listed separately; open the base item to see them.

Prices and effect text follow the item data bundled with this site. Expect a short lag after a patch lands.
