5 Rules to Break a Losing Streak

1

1. Don't Facecheck

If enemies are missing on the map, assume they are waiting in the bush.

2

2. Mute Toxic Chat

Instantly mute toxicity. Arguing never increases your win rate.

3

3. Limit Champion Pool

Master 2-3 champions so you can focus entirely on the map, not mechanics.

4

4. Value Your Life

A player who never dies is much more valuable than one who gets risky kills.

5

5. Focus on Yourself

You can only control your own plays. Focus on your own mistakes to improve.

How to Use This Guide

The starting set for a new Wild Rift player, and nothing beyond it. Begin with the 10 terms, then jump to whichever lane you are playing.

What is here

The first half is the 10 terms and the 5 lane roles — gank, peel and the rest of the words that start flying the moment you play with a team.

The second half covers micro versus macro, what each of the 7 objectives grants, 5 habits to check when the losses pile up, and a shortlist of beginner champions per role. Every champion there links straight to its full page.

Reading order

No lane picked yet? Read the lane section first and see which job suits you. Already decided? That lane plus its recommended champions will carry your first few games.

Wave management and teamfight shapes are not covered here. They live in the encyclopedia as separate entries, ready for when the basics feel settled.

Recommended champions are chosen for simple controls and a clear job, not for their tier.
