When the enemy mixes physical and magic damage and locks you down often
Six items, none of them carrying Attack Damage or Ability Power, add up to +1150 Max Health, +220 Armor, +215 Magic Resistance and +30% Tenacity. Unending Despair deals 3% of your max HP as magic damage to nearby champions every 4 seconds while you are in combat with a champion, and heals you for 250% of that damage. Amaranth's Twinguard gains a stack of Endurance every second while in combat with enemy champions; at five stacks both AR and MR go up by 30%. The longer a fight drags on, the harder you are to kill.

Skill Order (Lv 1 - 15)
Prioritize Skill 1 for wave clear and as your main damage source, then level Skill 2 for its shield.

League of Legends: Wild Rift (China) official champion library (patch 7.2, as of 2026-08-25)
The site's latest patch is 7.2d, but these figures come from 7.2. The 8 champions adjusted since then — Yone, Jinx, Leona, Rumble, Nasus, Ryze, Jayce, Nidalee — no longer match the live game.
A three-step guide set by the official champion library. For difficulty, a higher number means harder to play.
Critical damage is 175% for every champion. These figures exclude items and runes.
Sion Strengths
- ✓Max HP that keeps scaling with every kill through the passive
- ✓Revives briefly after death and keeps fighting
- ✓Long-range forced engage with Ult
Sion Weaknesses
- ×Slow, telegraphed skills that nimble enemies can dodge
- ×Struggles against percent-HP damage and armor penetration
- ×Low mobility, so kiting leaves him unable to reach targets
Early Game
Sion is surprisingly fragile early, so avoid forced fights. Clear waves safely with a charged Skill 1 and Skill 3. You can also lean on the passive revive and take even trades to pressure your opponent.
Mid Game
Your passive keeps raising your max HP as you kill minions. Keep farming, and use Ult (Unstoppable Onslaught) to roam quickly to mid lane. This is the phase to land surprise engages and pick up kills.
Late Game
By the late game you are a very durable, oversized tank. Split push a side lane to draw attention, and escape with Ult even when several enemies collapse on you. Making the enemy spend that time is what makes Sion's macro hard to deal with.
Teamfights
Start the fight with an Ult charge from out of vision. Fully charge Skill 1 in the middle of the enemy team for the knock-up. Even if you die, keep hitting their carry during the passive revive to break their formation.
⚠️ Common Mistakes
Charging Skill 1 in plain sight
If you charge Skill 1 while the enemy can see you, they simply walk away or interrupt it with CC. Start the charge from a bush, out of vision. That gives them no time to react and makes the knock-up far easier to land. Your level 5 Ult engages also succeed far more often when started outside enemy vision.
Sion Combos
Basic Combo
Slow and shred armor with Skill 3, then charge Skill 1 to knock them up.
Sion Patch History
No changes to Sion between patch 6.3 and 7.2d.
