Early Game
In the early game, use your piercing passive feathers to poke enemies through minions while farming safely! Always keep track of your feather count and placement to set up your Skill 3 root—that's the first step to mastering Xayah.
Mid Game
Once you get your core AD items, team up with your support and actively contest objectives! However, always save your ultimate to dodge fatal CC or completely negate an assassin's dive.
Late Game
Your damage skyrockets in the late game, but your positioning is everything! Stay behind your frontline, scatter a massive field of feathers with your auto-attacks, and brutally root and melt anyone who dares to step forward.
Teamfights
Your absolute biggest mission in teamfights is to survive until the end! Elegantly dodge the enemy's hard engage with your ultimate, then immediately pull your feathers back to root multiple targets and completely turn the fight around!
⚠️ Common Mistakes
Wasting ultimate for damage
Xayah's ultimate is the ultimate defensive tool against assassins and massive burst damage! Blowing it early just for a bit of damage or a forced engage is a huge mistake. Once it's down, you become a sitting duck in teamfights. After reaching (Lv)5, always hoard your ultimate to dodge fatal CC, and focus on kiting back while setting up devastating Skill 3 roots.
Basic Combos
Snare Combo
Place 3 feathers with Skill 1 and AAs, then pull them back with Skill 3 to snare.
Defend & Turn Combo
Become untargetable and scatter feathers with Ult, then snare with Skill 3 to counterattack.
