Early Game
It's simple: land your Skill 1 hook and get a kill, or miss and get punished! Your level 2 power spike (Skill 1 into Skill 3 Flay) offers the highest First Blood potential of any support, so look to play incredibly aggressive the moment you hit it.
Mid Game
Control the entire map with unfair gank setups and clutch rescues using your Skill 2 Lantern. Toss your lantern over a wall to your jungler to instantly collapse on the enemy from completely unpredictable angles!
Late Game
By consistently collecting souls, you will gain absurd amounts of free armor, making you incredibly tanky! Establish deep vision control and patiently wait to land that one game-winning Skill 1 hook on an out-of-position carry to end the match.
Teamfights
On offense, hook a priority target and trap them inside your Ultimate box to seal their fate! On defense, show off your mechanics by flaying (Skill 3) enemy assassins out of their dashes, and toss your Lantern (Skill 2) to perfectly bail out any targeted ally.

Thresh Mistake: Selfish Lantern Usage
Blowing your 2nd ability (Dark Passage) just to give yourself a tiny shield in lane, completely wasting it when your jungler arrives for a gank or when your ADC needs an emergency escape, is an unforgivable mistake! The Lantern is arguably the strongest repositioning tool in the game. Save it for critical plays, keep your eyes glued to your allies' positioning, and use your Lv5 Ultimate to lock enemies down in crucial teamfights!
