Early Game
Make sure to land your Skill 1 to apply those passive stacks, and work with your ADC to lock them down with a stun! If the enemy poke gets too intense, show off your skills by using Skill 3 (shield) and Skill 2 (leap) to soak up the damage for your carry.
Mid Game
Your peeling power in skirmishes is absolutely top-tier! During Dragon fights, step up to block incoming poke with your Skill 3, and drop your ultimate as the perfect counter-engage when the enemies dive in.
Late Game
Act as the ultimate bodyguard for your carries and never leave their side! Don't even try to secure vision on your own; always move as a unit to completely eliminate the risk of getting picked off.
Teamfights
Don't force plays by diving in yourself; your bread and butter is counter-engaging to protect your team from those pesky assassins and fighters! Spread your passive across multiple enemies and let your team's auto-attacks trigger a stun-fest.

Braum is a champion designed strictly for peeling and protecting his team. Misdirecting your shield (Skill 3) or diving into the enemy team while leaving your ADC behind is a massive throw! Keep your skills ready to peel off assassins and ganks, and rely on your Level 5 ultimate for devastating counter-engages.
