Vex Mistake: Diving in with your ultimate while your Fear passive is down
Vex's true power lies in her guaranteed AoE Fear. If you foolishly burn your passive on minion waves and then dive into a teamfight with your ultimate, you'll provide zero crowd control and instantly die as an isolated, squishy mage. Before you ever think about pulling the trigger on your engage, always verify that your passive bar is glowing red and ready to strike terror into the enemy team!
