Magic penetration and stacked AP for burst damage
- Malignance
- Seeker's Armguard
- Rabadon's Deathcap
- Void Staff
- Stormsurge
- Spellslinger's Shoes
When you are the main damage source and enemies stack Magic Resistance
The build totals +475 Ability Power, and Rabadon's Deathcap adds another 30% AP on top of that. Magic penetration comes to 48% and 33 flat, so Magic Resistance eats less of your damage. Stormsurge applies Squall once you deal 25% of an enemy champion's max HP within 2.5 seconds, and Squall strikes two seconds later for 125 plus 10% AP magic damage. Seeker's Armguard holds a 2.5-second Stasis that makes you invulnerable and untargetable, though you cannot move or act while it lasts, on a 120-second cooldown.
Bulk that turns Max Health into damage
- Relic Shield
- Heartsteel
- Riftmaker
- Zhonya's Hourglass
- Rylai's Crystal Scepter
- Armored Advance
When you play support up front and enemy damage is mostly physical
Relic Shield triggers Tribute near an ally only when you damage an enemy champion or attack a minion below 65% HP, spending one orb for 65 gold plus 20-80 HP. The build totals +1675 Max Health and +70 Armor, with Riftmaker turning 2% of your bonus HP into AP. Heartsteel's charged strike on an enemy champion deals 140 plus 3.5% of max HP as bonus physical damage and returns max HP worth 15% of that damage. Armored Advance answers physical damage from a champion with a shield absorbing 20-140 plus 5% max HP, every 12 seconds.

League of Legends: Wild Rift (China) official champion library (patch 7.2, as of 2026-08-25)
The site's latest patch is 7.2d, but these figures come from 7.2. The 8 champions adjusted since then — Yone, Jinx, Leona, Rumble, Nasus, Ryze, Jayce, Nidalee — no longer match the live game.
A three-step guide set by the official champion library. For difficulty, a higher number means harder to play.
Critical damage is 175% for every champion. These figures exclude items and runes.
Swain Strengths
- ✓High sustain and durability while Ult is active
- ✓Skill 3 catches an enemy and pulls them in
- ✓Continuous AoE damage from the middle of a teamfight
Swain Weaknesses
- ×Low mobility and fairly short skill ranges
- ×Durability drops against Grievous Wounds (anti-heal) items
- ×Missing Skill 3 leaves a large opening
Early Game
Early on, land the return of Skill 3 for the root and harass with the follow-up combo. Collect passive stacks as you go. You have no mobility, so scout with Skill 2 and stay alert for ganks.
Mid Game
In the mid game, activate Ult at objective fights and hold the frontline while draining HP from several enemies. The messier the fight, the more your healing and AoE damage matter. This is the phase to start teamfights yourself.
Late Game
With a full build, you are a frontline mage with high durability and sustained damage. Plant yourself in the middle of the enemy team. Block their escape routes with Skill 3 while slowly burning down all of them.
Teamfights
In teamfights, activate Ult and absorb enemy damage with items like Rylai's Crystal Scepter and Zhonya's Hourglass. Keep disrupting their formation as the frontline. Your team deals the damage while you hold them.
⚠️ Common Mistakes
Standing too far back during Ult
Do not activate your level 5 transformation Ult and then hang back out of fear; enemies simply walk out of your drain and damage radius. During Ult, Swain needs to be on the frontline drawing attention, using the Skill 3 root to keep enemies inside his range. Use Ghost and Liandry's Torment as well, and stay attached to the enemy group.
Swain Combos
Catch Combo
Root them with Skill 3, then land Skill 2 and Skill 1 as you drag them in.
