Momentum and haste to keep the pressure on
- Youmuu's Ghostblade
- Manamune
- Serpent's Fang
- Serylda's Grudge
- Guardian Angel
- Armorcrusher Boots
When you are roaming the map constantly and running low on Mana.
Youmuu's Ghostblade builds Momentum as you move, reaching 40 Movement Speed at 100 stacks, and attacking with max Momentum adds 25% Attack Speed for 4 seconds. Manamune's Awe grants AD equal to 1.5% of max Mana and refunds 15% of the Mana you spend. With these two in, the build totals +60 Ability Haste and +300 Max Mana.
Extra burst on the opening hit, plus a safety net
- Duskblade of Draktharr
- Serpent's Fang
- Serylda's Grudge
- Guardian Angel
- Sterak's Gage
- Armorcrusher Boots
When you dive in first and get focused down before you can get out.
Duskblade of Draktharr's Nightstalker adds 60-160 bonus physical damage to your first attack against a champion and slows them by 99% for 0.35 seconds, on a 10-second cooldown that a champion takedown refreshes. Sterak's Gage brings +400 Max Health and, when damage drops you below 35% HP, a shield worth 75% of bonus HP that decays over 5 seconds (70s cooldown). That trigger also grants 30% Tenacity for 8 seconds.

Darkin Slayer: When dealing damage to enemy champions, Kayn heals for 24% ((Lv)) of the damage dealt.

Reaping Slash
Darkin Slayer: Deals 42 (60%AD) plus 7% (+7% + 0.06% bonus AD) of the target's max HP as physical damage instead.

Base Stats
League of Legends: Wild Rift (China) official champion library (patch 7.2, as of 2026-08-25)
The site's latest patch is 7.2d, but these figures come from 7.2. The 8 champions adjusted since then — Yone, Jinx, Leona, Rumble, Nasus, Ryze, Jayce, Nidalee — no longer match the live game.
A three-step guide set by the official champion library. For difficulty, a higher number means harder to play.
Critical damage is 175% for every champion. These figures exclude items and runes.
Kayn Strengths
- ✓Hard-to-predict gank paths from his wall-walking Skill 3.
- ✓Flexibility to choose Blue (one-shot) or Red (durable) form to fit the game.
- ✓Ult lets him enter an enemy's body and become untargetable to avoid lethal damage.
Kayn Weaknesses
- ×Weak before transforming and loses most early 1v1 duels
- ×Picking the wrong form for the enemy comp hurts for the whole game
- ×Few tools to force an engage, and fragile against CC chains
Early Game
Clear your jungle quickly and gank to deal damage and gather orbs, aiming to transform as early as possible. Go Blue (Shadow Assassin) if the enemy team is squishy, and Red (Darkin) if they have many tanks and fighters.
Mid Game
Once your transformation completes, your power jumps. As Red, brawl up front as a durable frontliner with knock-ups. As Blue, use wall-walking to one-shot isolated enemy carries.
Late Game
Blue Kayn ambushes from fog of war at high speed and deletes carries in an instant. Red Kayn brawls in the middle of the enemy team. Even near death, he can Ult into a tank to drain a large amount of HP and recover, and that sustain is his weapon.
Teamfights
As Blue, never enter from the front. Flank through walls, kill the enemy ADC, and leave right away. As Red, land Skill 2's AoE knock-up where the enemy is clumped, then keep brawling to hold the frontline.
⚠️ Common Mistakes
Choosing a form that does not fit the enemy comp
Going Blue Kayn (Shadow Assassin) into a team full of tanks and fighters is a major mistake, and so is going Red Kayn (Darkin) against a team of squishies. Decide your form during champion select. Then focus your ganks on the lanes whose champions drop the orbs you need.
Kayn Combos
Basic Gank (Rhaast)
Phase through a wall with Skill 3 and land the knock-up from Skill 2. Close in with Skill 1, then heal with Ult when low.
Assassination Combo (Shadow Assassin)
Rush in through walls, cast Skill 2 and Skill 1 almost together, then execute with Ult.
