Early Game
Play cautiously until level 3 when you unlock your full combo, as you're very vulnerable to ganks. Once you have all basic skills, constantly use your 2-3-1 combo to proc Electrocute, whittle down their health, and scout for the perfect kill angle!
Mid Game
Post-level 5, you transform into an apex assassin with unmatched roaming and dueling power! Shove your wave and aggressively roam to the side lanes to harvest kills and snowball the game out of control. Your jungle pick-potential is also terrifying!
Late Game
As the game goes late, enemies will stack Stasis and armor, making solo assassinations extremely tough. You must split-push from the fog of war to force the enemy team to divide, using high-IQ macro to create favorable 1v1 duels!
Teamfights
Engaging from the front is a surefire way to get CC'd and deleted! Always flank from the fog of war, wait for key crowd control to be blown, and instantly ultimate their ADC or Mage. Dump your full combo in a split second and swap back to your shadow for a stylish escape!
⚠️ Common Mistakes
Zed Mistake: Wasting Skill 2 for poke and dying to ganks!
Zed's Skill 2 is arguably his most important tool and his ONLY escape. Throwing your shadow aggressively to poke, and worse, swapping to it, is practically begging the enemy jungler for a free kill! Only use Skill 2 for aggressive poke when you have absolute confirmation of the enemy jungler's location on the map. Post-level 5, the veteran move is to leave your Skill 2 shadow behind in a safe spot before diving in with your Ultimate, ensuring a clean getaway!
Basic Combos
Harass Combo
Spawn Skill 2's shadow, hit Skill 3 and Skill 1 with both shadow and main body to trigger Electrocute.
Assassination Combo
Engage with Ult, place Skill 2's shadow, and land all shurikens from the main body and two shadows for a guaranteed kill.
